Faith and Reason (In That Order)

~1~
The point of this blog is simple: to give a glimpse of my faith journey that has led me to Catholicism (or the process of Initiation). I have currently been in R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) since last fall here at Georgetown University. Come Easter this year I shall be a fully initiated Catholic, ready to serve in faith. This blog will include theological and philosophical thought, but only as it pertains to my personal experiences which have led me to God and the Church. I shall end this brief entry with a quote from Jacques Maritain, the great Catholic philosopher who has made Catholic theology (i.e. Thomism [there is no difference]) intelligible to me: "Vae mihi si non Thomistizavero" [Woe to me if I do not Thomistize].

  1. That paper was very well written, thank you for a treat in philosophy and professional citation. I am in my 3rd year of political studies, with a minor in Catholic studies.... just trolling around the internet in the middle of the night reading blogs on Aquinas. Welcome to the fold,

    Christ has risen!
